Oboe Reed Case (Holds 8)

The Oboe Reed Case can also hold english horn reeds. Made from any available wood, the case has outside dimensions of approximately 6 1/8 inches wide x 4 inches deep. It can accommodate 8 oboe reeds - each held in place by professionally die-cut foam inserts utilizing very durable memory foam. Unlike commercially produced foam inserts available online, the slots are angled to grab the reed at the cork. The foam strips on the insides of both lids act to safely suspend the tips of the reed so that they do not move around during transport. The pictured case was made from white oak.
